Better Dead Than Red

Better Dead Than Red was an anti-communist slogan used by American's against the rise of global communism.  It is a phrase that is not readily accepted among the compassionate conservatives of the 21st Century.  Last week, Ted Nugent, the right-wing rock n' roller expressed those sentiments at the NRA covention.  Since then, Nugent has came under scrutiny by the liberal media, liberal politicians, and even the Secret Service.  On The Covenanter Report, we will also scrutinize the words of Nugent to see if he really did make a violent threat as reported by the news media or if he was simply expressing the old conservative slogan Better Dead Than Red in Uncle Ted fashion.  We will also discuss the merits of the slogan and seek the understand a Biblical worldview concerning the conquest of communism in America.
