This week we continue our study of Urantia Paper 3 - The Attributes of God. We are studying Section 2: God's Infinite Power.

Last week we had an amazing discussion on God's Everywhereness. We learned that, yes, God is omnipresent; he alone can be in numberless places simultaneously and that he rules in the local universes through his Creator Sons who make God visible to his creatures.  God pervades the physical universes of the past, present, and future. He is the primordial foundation of material creation. God also is present in the inner universe because humans beings are indwelt by Father fragments.

This week we will explore that God is also energy, being omnipotent as well as omnipresent. He is the cause of all physical phenomena; he controls all power. "It is eternally true, "there is no power but of God."

Consider the following:

3:2.6.The Universal Father is not a transient force, a shifting power, or a fluctuating energy. The power and wisdom of the Father are wholly adequate to cope with any and all universe exigencies. As the emergencies of human experience arise, he has foreseen them all, and therefore he does not react to the affairs of the universe in a detached way but rather in accordance with the dictates of eternal wisdom and in consonance with the mandates of infinite judgment. Regardless of appearances, the power of God is not functioning in the universe as a blind force.

The Urantia Book's teachings on God are as amazing as we might expect a genuine revelation of truth to be. The book tells us that, "When men search for God, they are searching for everything. When they find God, they have found everything." This week our search for everything continues.

We hope you will join us as we discover and discuss God's Infinite Power
