You will be inspired by today's guest as we host a conversation with Denise "Lady Grateful" Lomax and learn how a woman is building a community house for neighborhood youth by converting abandoned homes on a block into the coffee shop and gather place, the game house and the tutoring house. All of these projects are designed to give youth a haven from the violence and crime of their community. Learn more at www.diamondzhoc.org or call Denise at (313) 704.8290. Having lost some of her students, she is committed to raise funds to see this dream transform into a reality. Her efforts have won recognition and interviews on local television to increase awareness of her efforts in the City of Detroit, MI. Her lessons are valuable and can be duplicated in inner cities across the globe to impact the lives of Black Youth. Her goal is to give our children hope in the midst of the storms, and peace to find their way forward.

The valuable lessons from this community liason and activist can assist you with your efforts to support the youth in your city.  We all owe it to the children to assist with creating a brighter future for them. It does take a village...
