This week we speak with, Talia McKinney, a Real Estate salesperson with a difference, she identifies herself as a “Home Matchmaker”. She expounds, “I listen, I relate, I care, I try to understand their situation and their needs. Selling or buying or BOTH is a huge event in someone lifetime. I am happy to assist them but I don’t rush them or pressure them”.It is clear that does do her job well, Talia needs to be an excellent ”People Person”. She entered the job market as a PR person in the Fashion industry, then spent several years in the world of hospitality, working in a variety of restaurants as bartender, waitperson or greeter. She loves her work with people in real estate, “meeting people and seeing their faces light up when they find their “IT” home. She loves getting to know clients, she says, ”people do not like to be sold, but they love shopping friends. In many cases we do become friends, I even helped a client who was moving to NYC to find a job”.
