Our guest today is Evelyn Tuths who is a Practitioner of Humor and Play. She is a psychotherapist who uses creative play, humor and laughter to,”increase well-being, presence and health”. She is a licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) having worked 10 years in Hospice and Palliative Care while, "exploring the healing benefits of Clown, Play and Humor Therapy”. She has a private practice and she facilitates creative workshops,”designed to support and nurture various care providers such as hospital clowns, healthcare clinicians, counselors and administrative staff”.She tells us, “Through Clown workshops I guide and journey people into the world of Play and Laughter, getting away from the seiousness of everyday life”. Evelyn has recently partnered with the Foundation for Laughter in Dallas facilitating a workshop for the hospital Clowns in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
