I will be interviewing OCLC's Web Content and Localization Manager Debra Lewis.  Also joining me will be Julie Perlmutter, Event Planner for the Web Managers Roundtable.  Debra was a prior speaker at the Roundtable in Washington D.C. last April.  Another guest will be Andrew Lawless, a well known expert and thought leader in global content management, and President of the Dig-IT consulting firm.  OCLC is a global organization dedicated to furthering access to information and reducing costs for its 72,000 member libraries in 170 countries.  The task of managing this vast enterprise falls to Debra Lewis, who has played a central role in the top-to-bottom rebuilding of virtually every element in the OCLC online operation as it grew from a single U.S. web presence to a global resource.  Our interview will focus on such questions as:  How to manage content and language growth while keeping your operations lean; how you can promise no surprises to your stakeholders (and keep your word!); and methods for governing content at headquarters and regional offices.  One reference text for this interview is The Art of the Global Gateway by John Yunker.  Please join in on the discussion either by posting any questions in advance to @glvaughan on Twitter, or by calling in live by telephone.
