Rob Walker (@rwalk03) is a staff writer at Into the Calderón and the guest on this edition of Colchonero Chat. He joins the program to relive Atlético Madrid’s 3-0 win over Celta Vigo at A Stadium Called Wanda on Sunday afternoon.

Rob and Into the Calderón site manager Jeremy Beren (@JBBeren) start the show by ranking Kanye West albums (very serious business) before launching into Antoine Griezmann’s latest sterling display and Gabi’s potentially revealing comments about the superstar after the match. The podders analyze Vitolo’s second league start and first league goal for Atlético and how he must factor into Diego Simeone’s plans moving forward. They also talk up Diego Costa’s beard game and how he very nearly went after Celta center back Sergi Gómez in the second half.

Then, the guys travel east and break down the first and second legs of Atlético’s Europa League Round of 16 tie against Lokomotiv Moscow. They ponder potential rotations, debate Atlético’s status as Europa League frontrunners and finally predict the second leg scoreline.
