Colchonero Chat has returned after a most unfortunate one-week delay, but there is much to discuss, so buckle up.

Carlo Valladares (@C_V_News) is a football writer for Atlético Fans, the Stoppage Time and These Football Times. Sean Walker (@SeanGWalker) is a writer for World Football and is a member of the Sound of La Liga podcast. They are the guests on this edition of the program, drooling over Antoine Griezmann's stunning goal at San Mamés last Sunday, a goal which helped Atlético Madrid to a 2-2 draw at Athletic Club. While the result in a vacuum was good, there remain questions surrounding Atlético's inability to defeat anyone in the top six and whether or not Diego Simeone's men will be playing Champions League football next season.

Focus then turns to Atleti's Copa del Rey adventure, which continued with another 2-2 draw, this time at Eibar on Wednesday. Another delicious late goal, this time from Juanfran, sealed that tie in style, and los colchoneros are full-steam ahead entering the semifinals.

(Note: this episode of Colchonero Chat was beset by unforeseen technical and editing difficulties, and as such, concludes rather abrupty - about two minutes before the original recording ended. I'd like to thank my guests Carlo Valladares and Sean Walker for joining me on this edition of the program. Please leave a rating and a review on iTunes. Hasta luego.)
