"Creating Movies from the Heart - a conversation with filmmaker Cynthia Lukas"

In this episode of Conscious Bridge Radio, host Mark Gilbert interviews filmmaker Cynthia Lukas who along with her partner, Kell Kearns, through their company "Heaven on Earth Productions" have produced many popular documentaries including the well-known Rumi Returning and the recent release on the growing interfaith movement, Globalized Soul.

Cynthia describes how she got into making films and offers some guidance for individuals interested in making documentaries. She also shares her intention in using the power of film as a way to both educate and break down barriers.  Of special note is the discussion on how the movies  Rumi Returning and Globalized Soul speak to the issue of understanding and accepting our differences in faith. 

Cynthia also describes their current project, a new and in depth documentary biography of Mahatma Gandhi entitled Gandhi's Gift scheduled for release late in 2016. An extended preview of this movie can be viewed online.
