Growing up into adulthood has enough challenges of its own. Add cleft and craniofacial anomalies to the picture, and it gets a little tougher, too. While many adults, from their 20s on up, have learned and comprehended their places within the Universe and grow up, there are others who -- emotionally speaking -- remain stunted in growth. On this week's "CleftCast," host Joe Rutland wraps up "The Healthy Smile" series by focusing on adults. What do adults need to move forward in their lives? Are the cleft and craniofacial anomalies still holding them back from living a present, abundant, prosperous life? Where are the trapdoors that can, either real or not, open and keep those of us from moving forward? Thoughts, feelings, emotions and structure are important factors in developing a healthy life ... and a healthy smile. Be encouraged, adults within the cleft/craniofacial community around the world. You are not alone. Enjoy this week's "CleftCast" and download it. Also, there will be a heads-up on a major topic that will be discussed at length throughout the fall.
