TheSiren welcomes QUEEN SHEBA back to her colorful table of talk!  The striking poet's discography includes seven albums, her fifth: Get Familiar, a double disc set that won "Album of the Year" from Just Plain Folks and her 6th & 7th "Domino Affect Vol.2" and "SHEBATAR: Inside the World of Queen Sheba," a 3 disc, 10-year collection.  Both landed in the running for a Grammy under the Spoken Word category.

Queen Sheba has performed her poems as a solo artist and with her all-girl, alternative rock band: Tempo 1-60 all over the United States, West Africa, and across Europe. From her performances at the Savoy in LA, The House of Culture in Antigua, West Indies or Harlem's Apollo Theater, Sheba is one of the most dynamic writers and performers of her generation.

Her new show, "My Thoughts Out-Loud," has hibernated all winter and is set to grow wings on a new tour in 2012. Sheba’s debut rock album, "They Say," is scheduled to start recording early Spring with Grammy-nominated producer Nick Chahwala with cameo appearances by Eva Kennedy, RES and other black-girl rockers.

Queen Sheba lives in Atlanta AND Charlotte, where she is an avid dog rescuer raising a Great Dane, Spirit, and treading waters in the dating pool. Her teenage son, honor student and rising basketball star, Allerik Freeman, also lives in Charlotte, NC. Sheba’s future goals include obtaining a Civil Rights Law Degree with the intentions of assisting artists while avoiding courtrooms.
