Linda Murphy--Oklahoma Defender of Children And Great Education

Hear interview with Linda Murphy from Oklahoma.  In the 1990's she led a statewide campaign against Outcomes Based Education OBE, Goals 2000 and School-to-Work. She traveled to several states to speak to groups and with many other state leaders and shared information.  Through a grassroots campaign and meetings across the state, we got state laws changed to stop the process in Oklahoma at that time.  Yet she knew the education battles were not over.
She warns us to not be ignorant of the past because it is totally relevant to what we are dealing with today, it is just renamed.
