Linda's Refrigerator

Show 3: Mrs. Linda Calvin currently hosts two blogs, On and On, and Linda's Refrigerator. She will discuss her blogs, why she is writing them and what made her start writing them. Linda Calvin is the global digital manager for Dow AgroSciences. In her role, she leads web strategy and development and social media projects for her global businesses. Originally from Chicago, Linda grew up in Indianapolis and considers herself a native of the Hoosier state. She earned her B.A. in Journalism from Butler University and earned her Juris Doctor from the IU School of Law, Indianapolis, in May 2009. Linda is active in the Indy community, participating in AIDS Walk, the Outback Scramble for Gleaners Food Bank and the Damien Center's Grand Masquerade. Linda is also a member of the board of two local non-profit organizations, Child Advocates and the Indiana Youth Group. In her 30+ years, she has witnessed the evolution of Indianapolis from a small city in a corn-field to a thriving metropolitan city. Linda, an avid fan of social media, uses Twitter, Facebook, Delicious and her blogs to share her Indy life experiences and to pay homage to the food and culture of Indianapolis with the rest of virtual world.
