Navigating the End Times: A Call for Practical Christianity- Rev Douglas
in Christianity
Firstly, let us remember the words of our Lord, "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet" (Matthew 24:6). Christ implores us not to be troubled, for such events are but the birth pangs of a new era.
We are called to be peacemakers, for "Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God" (Matthew 5:9). Our mission is not to add to the cacophony of conflict but to be instruments of peace, to embody the love and compassion that Christ taught us.
As practical Christians practicing practical spirituality, we must anchor our actions in prayer, knowing that "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16). Let us pray for peace, for wisdom for our leaders, for comfort for those who suffer, and for the softening of hearts that have turned to stone.
You are warmly invited to worship with us to enjoy an uplifting community experience of Virtue healing service. Listen in as Rev Douglas and guest speakers reveal the wisdom and guidance of Spiritual truths. We believe in miracles. We will pray for you dear Brothers and Sisters of Faith. Episode 352: The Unspoken God, Part Six--Conclusions and Community
in Christianity
In this final episode of our series on how we relate to God beyond the spoken word or printed page, pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve explore how we circle back to community in our experience of God. That includes the present-day community of our congregations, small-group gatherings, and things like Bible study groups, but also the community of voices that make up the Scriptures themselves. And as we said at the start of this series, both things can be true at the same time: God is bigger than our experience in the printed or preached word, but that doesn't mean we are looking to get rid of the community-centered-around-the-Word. In fact, the community that reads, prays, and discerns together helps to hold us accountable and deepen our understanding. So join us for this conversation here on Crazy Faith Talk!

Stand In The Gap With Us and The St. Cecilia 11/22/2023
The Roman world in 230 A.D. was far from safe for the Christian population that had been for the most part underground throughout the Roman Empire. Burying the dead was officially against Roman Law and those caught would themselves be executed.
About 177 A.D., a baby girl was Baptized into the Catholic Faith. Her name given was Cecilia who was raised in a Christian home who developed a love for the Mass and the Lord Jesus Christ and His Mother.
From an early age she made a vow to virginity to honor the Lord, her first love. Cecilia would make sacrifice serving God through fasting, wearing sackcloth next to her skin, she had great devotion to the Virgin Mary, the Saints, angels, especially the virgin and martyrs for the faith.
The Parents of Cecilia living in a Roman world found it difficult having to give their Christian Daughter to a Noble Roman who was raised Pagan. Their money could not be dependable to maintain their freedom so they lived in trying times for the faithful.

God Has the Final Say
in Christianity
God the Father has written our book of life. His purpose and plan for us unfold each day. Every chapter in our life's earthly journey is penned by Him. We can stand on God's Word and plug into the power or shrink because of a lack of knowledge or disbelief. We must speak the Word of God to change the condition or circumstances in our hearts, mind, and body.
Isaiah 55:11 (NIV) says, "So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." God's Word will do what it says it will do!
Join us Tuesday, November 28, at 3:30 PM (PT) as we discuss the application of the Word of God. Call in to speak with the host (319) 527-6720.
