Max Rodriguez's professional work has focused on the development of the African American reader market. Max is the founder of the now 22-year old Harlem Book Fair, the nation's largest book festival dedicated to books written about the African American experience. He is also the producer of The Westchester Children's Book Festival, co-produced in partnership with the White Plains Public Library, and he is the founder and editor of QBR/The Black Book Review, called "the African American book review of record" by the New York Times.
