I have been looking forward to this morning's interview ever since I met Sarah Jean at "The First International Alcoholics Anonymous History Conference," Sept. 6-7, 2013, in Portland, Maine. Sarah Jean had just become married to Christian A.A. leader Tim K. from Colorado. The wedding date was September 1st. The two had met at an A.A. conference. Both are devoted Christians and Alcoholics Anonymous servants. Just after the Maine Conference, the pair joined us on a very special visit to Dr. Bob's birthplace in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Dr. Bob was Tim's great grand sponsor in A.A., and the couple have taken a great interest in disseminating the history of Dr. Bob's role in recovery. Tim currently heads a Came to Believe Retreat in Colorado.

But today is about Sarah Jean. We'd like to hear about her family, her home, her education, her religious background, her present employment, her A.A. work, and her future plans. She has an excellent education and aspires to being a teacher. Husband Tim works for a Christian radio enterprise, and the two are well-suited to carry the message of the International Christian Recovery Coalition in which both  are  participants.

I look forward to having the same kind of one-on-one talk with Sarah Jean that I was privileged to have in Portland, Maine, and in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. I hope she will favor us with a word or two about her addiction background. And now,  take it away, Sarah Jean.
