How the Poultry Products Inspection Act can benefit you the homesteader.

So I guess I have been at this for a while and for most homesteads the bravest they ever get is selling eggs and produce at the local farmers market.  Did you know that you could process on your farm domestic poultry and rabbits and market the carcasses and parts to the public as fresh meat products.  Well it is true there is an exemption that comes into play and we will discuss that today on the radio.  Just so you will have a written note to revert back to after the show be sure to note: "P.L. 90-402" you can find the requirements of this exemption by looking up the Poultry Products Inspection Act.
