Dr. Karen Hall is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her bachelor’s in communication from University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) while playing basketball for the school. She holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a Doctorate in Education, Leadership and Administration.


Presently, she is Assistant Executive Director for Ozanam, Inc, an ESPN3 Color Analyst, an assistant professor, and works collegiate basketball conference and NCAA Division-I Championships. She spent 20 years coaching college basketball at several NCAA universities.

A woman of many talents, Dr. Hall is a published author. Her book is entitled Ten Tremendous Leadership Lessons: A Guide to Leadership Learning. She was the first woman to coach at the prestigious Five Star Boys Basketball Camp and the first woman to play, coach, and win back-to-back championships in the infamous Connie Hawkins Men's Summer Basketball.

She is the fifth inductee into the Western Pennsylvania Girls High School Basketball Hall of Fame. In 2013, her 34-0 State Championship team was inducted into the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Hall of Fame.
