Shea Collins, Director of Student Activities for Chesterfield County Public Schools, has been in public education for 20 years. She's taught and mentored students in grades 7-12 in various science disciplines, was the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Prince George High School for 9 years, and taught IB Biology for five years. She's also held other leadership roles as a full-time teacher and administrator. 

Shea is in her 9th year as a Director of Student Activities and her 4th year at Midlothian High School. In this role, she oversees 33 sports, various clubs, academic teams and sponsors. She also schedules student transportation for field trips, building use, social media updates for school and athletic events and other duties.

She is a Board Member and Committee Chairperson for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee within the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAAA), and she is a member of the Sportsmanship and Participation Committee for the Virginia High School League (VHSL).

Shea is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Organizational Change.
