Ardeana Scott-Yon is Asst. Athletic Director at Gulliver Prep in Miami, FL. She is a Columbus State University trained educational leader with an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University, and she is GA Professional Standards Commission Teacher Leader Endorsed.

Internationally, she presented at the International Gender and Sport Forum Conference in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, Africa and served as Athletic Director for girls at the American International School in Cairo, Egypt. In the U.S., she was the Co-Athletic Director at Forest Park High School in Clayton County, GA and served as Play it Smart Academic Coach in the Atlanta Public School System.

She has a M.S. in Sport Administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and a B.S. in Health and P.E. (Sport Communication concentration) from South Carolina State University.

As a former Division I softball and soccer student-athlete, Scott-Yon served on the National Student Athlete Advisory Committee, became a National Leadership Conference facilitator, and served as a member of the Championship/Competition Cabinet and the Division I Playing and Practice Seasons Subcommittee. She is an active member of the National Organization of Minority Athletic Directors and The Global Community of Women in High School Sports.

Originally from Decatur, GA, she is married to Jerome and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
