Brandi Stuart began her tenure as Texas Tech’s new Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator on Feb. 16. She arrives in Lubbock following five-plus years in leadership roles at UCF. She joined the Knights in September 2015 as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Welfare and Development before being promoted to Executive Associate Athletics Director in 2018 and then Deputy Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Success in 2019.

Stuart will serve as the Senior Woman Administrator at Texas Tech.  She will also supervise Texas Tech’s sport administrator program as well as its Title IX and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion education and initiatives.

In addition to her campus duties at UCF, Stuart was a prominent voice at the conference and NCAA levels as the American Athletic Conference SWA Chair and the chair of the NCAA Softball Committee from 2018-20. 

Stuart has more than 15 years of experience in athletics administration overall with two previous stints at Florida State, her alma mater.

For the past 10-plus years, Stuart has been a consultant and facilitator for the Institute for Sport and Social Justice and the Huddle Up program. She serves as a senior lead trainer for program delivery, working with intercollegiate athletics departments as well as NBA and MLB teams and various branches of the military.
