Shyandrea S. Glass is entering her fifth year at Jackson State University in the Tiger Center for Student Athlete Development and Academic Services.
She began her career at Jackson State University in September 2015 serving in the capacity of Academic Counselor. During this time, she worked with all student- athletes as the Life Skills Coordinator and working directly with Women's Bowling and Women's Softball academically. Glass was promoted to Coordinator of Student Athlete Support Services in 2016. In 2017, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Student Athlete Support Services overseeing Men's Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Bowling and Women's Softball as well as the Life Skills Coordinator. In July of 2020, she was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Academics.
Glass was a part of the team that assisted Jackson State University Athletic Academic Enhancement Center become Program Certified through N4A. This made Jackson State University the 3rd HBCU in the nation to receive this certification and 2nd in the state of Mississippi.
Glass obtained her BA in Mass Communication from Alcorn State University ('12), MS in Media Studies from Arkansas State University ('14) and Master in Sport Administration from Belhaven University ('15). She is also the founder of Princess to Queen Mentoring, mentoring 6th- 8th grade young ladies in her community.
