After college, I attempted professional football however I was not picked in the 06' NFL draft so I started coaching.  My first stop was at U of D Jesuit working Coach Scott Merchant as The DB and WR coach. I then moved on to Ann Arbor Huron working under Coach Joel Przygodski also as the DB and WR coach. I then received a promotion as the Defensive Coordinator at Inkster high school with my High School Coach Greg Carter.  After a deep run into the MHSAA State Championship, I took another promotion as the Head Football Coach of River Rouge High School. Since taking over at River Rouge, we have made four consecutive playoff appearances and won three conference titles. In addition we have sent countless young men off to D1, D2 and D3 schools to help support our community and further their education. In 2013 I was recognized as Regional Coach of The Year. http://www.thedzone.net/2013/03/river-rouge-coach-lifts-struggling.html#.U1ZoWPldV8E 01:29:00J Leonard JohnsonnoSingle Wing,Corey Parker,River Rouge High School,Angelo WhittisCorey Parker Coaching Bio: I grew up on the Northeast side of Detroit. Attended High School at St Martin DePorres where I was a 4-year letterman at DB and onHarold Strausshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/chang40/2014/04/21/harold-straussSportshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/chang40/2014/04/21/harold-strauss/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/chang40/2014/04/21/harold-straussMon, 21 Apr 2014 00:00:00 GMTHarold StraussCoach Strauss returns to coaching football and teaching PE at Grand Terrance High School after retiring from coaching after the 2009-10 football season to assume his role as the Athletic Director at Colton High School.
