Bishop Benny Sagra celebrates the Celtic Holy Mass on the First Sunday of Advent.  Liturgical Color - Purple.  Epistle:  Romans 13:11-14.  Gospel:  Luke 21:25-33.  Theme:  No one who waits upon the Lord shall be put to shame

Lector:  Sr. Marley Sagra

Intercessor:  Br. Matt Keller

The Celtic Holy Mass is divided into two sections:  The Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.  At the beginning of the Mass we recite the Litany of the Celtic Saints.  It uses the Readings and Prayers taken from the St. Joseph Daily Missal, 1959-1961 Editions.  It all its simplicity, beauty and uniqueness, the Celtic Holy Mass is compact and suited for those who are unable to participate in a Live Mass and who can only listen to the Podcast in the comfort of their own homes.

Synopsis:  On the first day of the Liturgical Year, the Church commemorates the manifestation of our Lord's love for men by His Incarnation and by His Second Coming as the Judge of the world.  Jesus, Our Lord will reward those who yearn for Him and await Him:  "No one who waits for You shall be put to shame."
