As of right now, I'm writing a book now titled This is Me: Life with Autism, which discusses my struggles and triumphs with my disability throughout my life. Every day, there will be new challenges that are gonna confront me but I will get stronger and more confident as I conquered them. I always live by a quote made by Jim Henson. Diary of a Gay Nerd is the memoir of a child abuse survivor. He doesn't consider himself a victim as his sister claims, he considers himself a survivor and chose this platform to raise awareness of child abuse in America in the 1970's and 80's and especially how gay children are still being treated by homophobic parents and families. The book chronicles nearly 41 years in 41 chapters. The book details child abuse issues, Mike as a homeless teenager and his many relationships up until his current relationship which had lasted 17 years. Michel currently lives in Bakersfield with his partner of 20 years. He has many crafting hobbies and he sells them on Etsy as a supplemental income because his disability isn't enough to live on. He has been living with AIDS for more than 20 years and he has a mild form of Parkinson's and Scoliosis. The book cover says 10% of profits from the book go to charity, but after he published the book, he decided that he wanted to give 10% of profits to each of 3 LGBT organizations. It is hard to live when it feels like everyone hates you and my baby sister was always bullied as well and sadly still is that's why I write my poetry not just to inspire people but to let them know that they are not alone and no matter how down they feel there are soo many more people out there thinking the same things and feeling the same way but I mainly try to focus on helping people to understand that they are not alone in this big ol' world so many of my friends and family have been bullied so much including myself. I have friends who are suicidal and turn to drugs to numb the pain its just really sad I have helped many people in my life to realize that they are soo much more then people lead them to believe. So my main thing is you are not alone and I want people to know this and that is why I became a model and why I write my books because you don't have to be made of plastic or rich to become something more than what you can even imagine you just need to ignore the ones that hurt you and shoot for the stars and not stop till you get there. I want people to know that they are beautiful no matter what and they are perfect just the way they are doesn't matter what you look like or even who you love and that is why I do everything that I do. She was actually the very first guest on "The Bully Effect".. Her mother Karen Walker came to me with a situation she is facing at the moment. You see, Savannah has been bullied for years.. Standing up for herself a lot more often these days. She got into an altercation with one of her bullies. It ended up that she was defending her self when this other girl came at her. Legally it was all in self defense. Here is her problem. She was the... one who got suspended from school while her bully did not. Savannah did have to go to court over this matter. However, the judge seen how this other girl had been bullying her. Thier troubles are not over yet. June 16th, Karen (Savannah's mother) must now go to court herself. Since the bully's mother could not get nothing out of Savannah, she has decided to press charges against Karen. Four charges total, two of them being a felony. I have been a podcaster for 6 years. I started in radio, with my best friend Jack Daniels, and have interviewed a variety of guests on a variety of topics. Our group, along with the many others that we work alongside, strive to help out any indivisual that is a victim of bullying in anyway we can. We have helped out a few families so far, and are striving harder to work with more in the future. Bullying is a personal subject to me, because I w as bullied for two and half years by someone I thought was my friend. He attacked my beliefs, isolated me from friends, turned other friends against me, and even almost ruined my relationship with my family. At one point in my life I was a bully, and I would say hurtful things on my past shows, before it became a anti bullying show. I was also bullied in high school for my constant panic attacks and adhd. The bullying got so bad at school that the only time people would talk to me was to mess with me.
