From the time of Harry Bellafonte and calypso, to the mento kings like Lord Flea to Bob Marley and Reggae, Jamaican music has held court on the world stage. You could say it set the stage for other professions like Usain Bolt and track, in fact, it goes hand in hand with other professions. But for every success story there are numerous stories of artists being cheated, robbed, abused, left out in the cold etc. etc. What can we do about this? It is not my intent to point fingers, but to ask hard questions and to try to change the mind set of myself and my fellow Jamaicans. So today, we will take the time to talk about "CHARITY" the act of giving. Giving our time, effort and financial support. I look forward to hearing from our listeners and hearing their views and suggestions. Step up and do the right thing.
