Ep2: 3 Ways to Set Healthy Boundaries and 7 Ways to Graciously Say No with Tandy Elisala

Tune in to hear my caregiving and parenting boundaries stories and how I was able to shift my hoarding parents' habits and reclaim my space and help my kids P.L.A.N better.

Three boundary tips:

1. Respect yourself enough to set boundaries that are true to you.

2. Stop taking on responsibility for others.

3. Ask for what you need. Be specific. Listen to episode 2 for my 3 step process to rally your support system.

7 Gracious Ways to Say NO:

  • I’m unable to commit to that right now.
  • I really appreciate you asking me, however, I’m unable to do xxx.
  • I’m going to say no for now. I’ll let you know if that changes.
  • I’m honored that you would ask me, however, my answer is no.
  • I understand you really need my help but I’m just not able to say yes to that.
  • I appreciate you thinking of me but I'm not the right person for this.
  • This isn't in line with my goals or priorities right now.

Tune in for a few extra ways to reframe a no!
