Meet the founder and staff of Reassure Analytics, our 2016 National Caregiving Technology and Product Pitch Winner.

Oscar E. Rodriguez, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer, will share the story behind the company's app, Care|Mind, a simple, easy-to-use app for iOS that enables caregivers to monitor carees using Fitbit® data. Caregivers can monitor step, sleep, and heart rate activity; set up custom alerts; and track carees’ conditions and medications.

Dr. Rodriguez, who oversees the clinical development of Care|Mind, has an extensive background in clinical research with medical degrees from both the National University in Guadalajara, México and New York Medical College in the US and a MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business. Oscar nearly lost his mother to a heart attack 15 years ago during her recovery from hip replacement surgery. Since then he has sought to leverage and create technologies, like Care|Mind, to not only optimize loved ones’ quality of life but also bring caregivers, like himself, peace of mind.

Joining Dr. Rodriguez will be:

·       Hanson Chang, who oversees product strategy and development for Care|Mind, is an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. While he resides hundreds of miles from his parents and grandparents, he maintains regular contact through the phone, FaceTime, and Care|Mind.

·       Sarah McMains oversees Care|Mind's marketing strategy and marketing efforts. Sarah works as a Director of Strategy at a digital agency, Huge Inc. Sarah's parents and grandparents live far away (some in Australia!), but she uses technology like FaceTime, Care|Mind, text, and email to stay connected and updated on their health.
