Cathy Braxton

Catherine Braxton has her bachelors degree in Psychology and has completed all Masters course work in Health Psychology. Catherine is the C.E.O. of Silver Dawn Training Institute where she creates original content and educational materials for the Dementia RAW conference. Catherine has 20 years of experience in the aging and dementia field working in various capacities including activities, social work, service coordination and marketing. She currently blogs for the Chicago Tribune ChicagoNow platform. 

Dale Carter

Dale C. Carter is an eldercare advocate, author and national speaker.

Her book, “Transitioning Your Aging Parent: A 5 Step Guide Through Crisis & Change,” helps individuals and family members navigate the changes their aging loved ones will face.  Her ADAPT model guides them to find purpose and fulfillment in what is truly some of the most important work of their lives.

Quality memory care has become her personal mission. She directed the start-up of her area’s first memory care and is now caregiver to her husband with Lewy body dementia.

Erica Hornthal is the CEO of Chicago Dance Therapy.  She specializes in movement therapy and counseling with individuals and families affected by movement and cognitive disorders.
