Maybe he and his cabinet will use the "C" word or capitalism often. If more knew what capitalism was really about, liberals would not try to slime capitalism and conservatives would try to avoid talking about capitalism even though capitalism used to be the Republican platform. As of four years ago, I stopped using the terms "liberal" and "conservative" because, no one person regardless of what he or she says, is 100% liberal or 100% conservative. I wish people would call themselves either Democrat or Republican. This will probably be one of the craziest shows I've done in a long time. I was presented with a question the other day, but in reality, it was a hypothesis, that minorities need a different type of sales training to be successful. As some of you already know, I'm always listening to what people say.  My first response to the question was "why would say this?" So I left the conversation shaking my head. I want to hear what you have to say about this subject. First, the sales industry is not for everyone to begin with. So why would someone say that minorities are a subset of an industry where the majority of people do not like sales? Second, a sales concept is not black, white, Latin, or Asian. Why does sales training need to be conceptualized uniquely for minorities? What would this alternate, conceptualize sales training include? Let's talk about this subject. 00:30:00Black Capitalistnosales, capitalism,Black,White,AsianThis will probably be one of the craziest shows I've done in a long time. Torrie Robinson, from Detroit, will be our guest as he talks about how got received an invite to appear on Glenn Beck's show. Over the last few years, Mr. Robinson learned a lot about America's economic and political systems as he saw Detroit crumble right before his eyes. Born and raised in Detroit, Torrie saw how the political machine of union leaders, Democrat mayors and Governor sucked the lifeline out of Detroit's number one industry. Today's show is about who dropped the ball in the Republican Party to allow all this madness to happen? Obviously, Liberals have the momentum at the expense of the crumbling American capitalistic system. Is this good for America? Is it good to see wealth erode or be transferred via socialistic policies? Who is to blame on the GOP side? I have my theory, but I would like to hear if someone can confirm it.  If someone confirms my theory, I will run with it. Please feel free to call in. It is our opinion at BlackThinker.org that the powers-that-be do not want Black Thinkers to know about and develop the self-employment, self-reliant mindset. We know that this information may not be for everyone, but it is imperative that the Black Thinker get a chance to hear about the financial, emotional, psychological and politcal benefits of the small business owner. We also feel that the Black Thinkers might have a slight edge in operating as small business owners. You can decide. A Liberal is what? Someone who believes in being liberated or free? A Conservative is what?  Someone who lives his or her life under a set of moral guidelines or principles? One can see how the Black Thinker is confused by political labels. So what is a guy who believes in the Constitution, the free enterprise system, but is a womanizer? A Conservative? What is a woman who owns a growing business employing 50 employees that she started from scratch and donates money to local charities, but does not believe in God? A Liberal? The Black Thinker, as well as millions of people who fly political party banners, are confused. Most Black Thinkers believe in God which is a high Conservative and Democrat attribute and but Black Thinkers vote for people who do not put God high on the list in some cases.  And so do white people!  What do things political labels really represent? Black Thinkers shout on the top of highest mountain about racism, but exhibit, on occasion, quasi-racist behavior when it benefits them. For example, when a black and a non-black interview for a job or promotion, and the non-black gets selected, black thinkers decry "racism". Did the Black Thinker consider that, perhaps, the person hired graduated from the same college or belonged to the same fraternity or sorority? Or the person hired or promoted was part of a networking group that helps their own?  Why does it always have to be racism? Hell, it could a relative...which is nepotism...but when things or circumstances don't favor Black Thinkers all the time...it is not always racism. This show will explore the conundrums of political party labels as well as try to peel the layers of the onion with regard to the Black Thinker. 01:01:00Black Capitalistnoblack people,Conservatives,Liberals,Democrats,RepublicansI'm your host B.T. of the Black Thinker Radio Show.  Call in and state your case! State your case about topics of race, politics, economics, leadership, employment, relationships, etc. Why did we start "Black Thinkers"? First, it would silly to believe that all black people think alike. Second, if you heard someone that felt like "you", maybe the world would be a different place. Third, and not least, we want our callers to "make their case"! It is our opinion that there's a lot of rhetoric out there in the public domain. Just because you have a microphone or camera in front of you does not mean what comes out of your mouth is truthful. Another word that comes to mind is "hyperbole". Please look  up this word. Folks, stuff people say whether it is a preacher, politician or a statistician is either true or not true.  However, the power of persuasive language mesmorizes us to hear what we want to hear and not what we need to hear. You will hear the words, in question form, WHY and HOW, a lot! The host, who goes by the initials, BT, is a Florida native of Haitian descent, whose parents were drug dealers and addicts in 1970's. After spending 10 years as a military serviceman and 12 years in corporate America in California, BT began to reflect on why people think like they do.  BT has gained a lot of great insight at the age of 52 . BT started a consulting business that advises business owners on how to improve operations. People BT admires include: Jesse Jackson (from the 1970's), Ronald Reagan, Denzel Washington, the late Donna Summer, George W. Bush, the late Margaret Thatcher, Dr. Ben Carson (from his 1992 book, "Think Big"), Colonel Allen West, and in some economic aspects, President Barack Obama. 01:01:00Black Capitalistnoeconomics, culture, politics, black, capitalismBroadcasting from Northern California, the show explores diverse viewpoints of Black Thinkers.
