Therefore our businesses are channels for kingdom purposes.  We must not become the dam that withholds the blessing, but we need to become a river that the blessing of the Lord is following through us to serve the kingdom purposes in the world. To get a grip on this, we need to get a grip on the fact that God owns the world and everything in it.  Bringing back everyone to the position that God is the creator of all and ultimately everything is owned by him.  We are his chosen vessels to manage that on earth. God’s charge to us is to be fruitful and to multiply and therefore be profitable with what he has given us as stewards. Through business God wants us to be creating kingdom economic cycles and systems that generate Kingdom wealth that will begin to flow for the Abrahamic Covenant of us being blessed to be a blessing to flow to the world!  Therefore we need to come to understanding of Kingdom Profit. He has studied and teaches on: What is God saying about business and about the economy. During the interview we discuss the fact that a lot of what he had learned in business in the world was contry to what the Bible says about business.  One of those main differences is the fact that the world comes from a perspective of scarcity (economics is the study of scarcity) whereas God's foundation is not scarcity but abundance.  Scarcity builds a world system based around greed and says there is not enough for everyone to go around.  However God says that there is enough for everyone on earth. We carrying the creative spirit of God, as we are created in his image.  We need to start with what we have in our hands, understand this and not focusing on what we don't have.  When we do this, God will take the little that we have, in thankfulness, and God can multiply what you have. Be thankful in all things and then make your request known to God.  Out of the thankfulness will flow what we need to fulfill the vision that God has for us. Stats also show that children of prisoners are 6 to 7 times more likely to end up in prison themselves. As someone who have experienced the realities of having a parent in jail, I would like to commend to you the Angel Tree Project by Prison Fellowship.  The Angel Tree Project enables children of prisoners to receive a gift at Christmas time when in a lot of cases they would not otherwise receive a gift. We talk about sin, not to condemn people, but to see them set free from the power of sin in their life. In discussing sin, we went through one by one the ten commandments, which were given to us by God through Moses as the guidelines for life. Many people think that this is Old Testament and so not relevant for today, however Jesus made it clear in Matthew 5:17-20 and Matthew 22:37-40 that they are relevant for today. The problem is that most of us still look at them from the point of What does God want from me now?  And not from the position of what does God want to give me? You see there is a reason why God wants us to obey this commandments, because he has something to give us. All pagan god's want something from us. Actually most human beings are the same, they want something from us. However our God is a different God, He doesn't want something from us, but he wants to give us something. God doesn't need us. He wants us! He is trying to give us something. So during the message as we went through the 10 different commandments we asked the question, what does God want to give to us? We also looked at the commandments from the perspective that they were given to believers and not unbelievers.  So we as the body of Christ, need to take them on board and implement them into our lives, to see true transformation come.  In so doing we looked at the difference between the Gospel of Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom. After we looked at each commandment a member of the congregation stood up and prayed a prayer of repentence. God wants to see a divine exchange take place, instead of shame, he longs to give us glory and honour! God has promised us to remove shame from our lives. Isaiah 61: 7:  Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm[b]— my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed." Joel 2:25 - 27 Shame is a very crippling.  There is a hopelessness about it.  As opposed to guilt which is a wrongness of action, shame is a wrongness of being.  Not only I did something wrong, I am something wrong. Shame leaves you hopeless, if I am a mistake, rather than I made a mistake, it is very hard to do anything about that. Shame is a deep feeling of uncleanness, unacceptability, worthlessness, it breads self-hatred and un-forgiveness.
