Chris Kilham is the Medicine Hunter. He is an ethnobotanist, global traveler, author, yogi, educator and an ordained minister. Chris has written 14 books, one of which has been published in almost 30 languages. He has researched medicinal plants in more than 45 countries. He has appeared on hundreds of TV shows globally, and was the Fox News Medicine Hunter, broadcasting in 100 countries, for 10 years. The New York Times described Chris as a cross between Indiana Jones and British TV personality Indiana Jones and David Attenborough. In addition to the New York Times, Chris has been featured in High Times, Green Flower, Civilized, Lift, Culture, MassRoots, Outside Magazine, Psychology Today, Playboy, VICE, LA Weekly, Newsweek, and Business Insider. He appeared on CNN, NBC Nightly News, The Dr. Oz Show, ABC Good Morning America, ABC Nightline, ABC 20/20 and many other top-tier media venues.

Medicine Hunter Chris Kilham, has visited the Amazon 35 times, since 1997,  working in Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and French Guiana.

During those trips he’s lived, worked and traveled with indigenous peoples in the forest and on the rivers. He’s dedicated many months and many tens of thousands of dollars in personal funds to support the forest, rivers, people, wildlife, foods, and medicines that are part of the Amazon’s rich ecosystem.
