The Red Velvet Surprise

Even for a wedding coordinator we knows that the pennacle of a successful event can rest on the merits and taste of the cake. It used to be for weddings, even birthdays and other events it was all about what the cake looked like. We have all grown into foodies with the influx of better ways of preparing food and we now expect our cakes to be sensational, too. 

Without getting into particulars the Director of VIU had various scary and fun things happen to him this season and I thought it would be great celebrate the miracles and new adventures within his life with cake. The best cake for him, would need to not only look good, but taste good as well. I knew Ramya could conjure a  great design of the cake. As you may recall she has a background in engineering. While we were conferring on flavors, jusk like a bride I changed the flavor from chocolate to red velvet, right before she started making the cake. And when she suggested a combination of them both, I knew we had a winner.
