Come and Chill on Brown Suga Radio tonight with my brother Datwon Thomas. He is the Editor-In-Chief of VIBE and Vice President of Cultural Media for PMRC.  With hard work and dedication Mr. Thomas held positions as former Founder and Editorial Director of the men's lifestyle guide, KING Magazine; the urban car enthusiast's favorite, RIDES Magazine; and was the Editor-in-Chief of hip-hop's street authority, XXL Magazine. He is a force to be reckoned with,  who has also presided as Founder/Editorial Director of XXL Presents Hip-Hop Soul, a publication dedicated to documenting the successful hybrid genre of R&B and Hip-Hop. These information outlets were trendsetting and trend-spotting staples that boasted a collective circulation that climbed into the millions.

Chime in tonight so you can learn from one of the best in his industry and see what it takes to be at the top of your game. As hip-hop and music change Mr. Thomas has learned how to pivot and create a lane for his massive success. Mr. Thomas soon added a television commentator to his list of talents as an entertainment lifestyle expert on VH1’s Fabulous Life of... series, various BET and MTV specials, and numerous radio appearances. A run as entertainment staffer with Carlos Watson and Laurene Powell Jobs' Ozy.com also expanded his tech content experience. His entrepreneurial interests veered into developing the headwear line Twnty-Two.com, as well.

The Brooklyn, New York native has lived in Japan and New Mexico and believes his many travels abroad has helped shape his rounded perspective on urban/pop culture. Mr. Thomas resides in Queens, NY with his wife and three daughters.
