This week's topic will discuss low self-esteem and suicide among young African-American and Hispanic-American boys.

It's said that low self-esteem can lead to risky behavior. In addition, low self-esteem can lead to suicide --suicide is the third-leading cause of death for adolescents between 15 and 24 years of age in the United States and its rate has been increasing. Although typically seen as affecting Caucasians more than other groups in the U.S., the rates of suicide among African Americans, Latinos, and others have been increasing.
