SANDY NICHOLS, author and researcher, founded the Alien Research Group in 1998 to provide help and counseling for UFO abductees trying to come to grips with the realization that they have been visited and taken aboard alien spacecrafts by extraterrestrial beings. Sandy lives and works in Thompson Station, Tennessee and as a child became aware that he too was being periodically taken by extraterrestrial beings for some unknown purpose. His book "Different Child", recounts his early memories of his alien abductions and his emerging awareness of what had previously been suppressed by his consciousness.  He has also, with his wife Joan, his daughter Chandra, along with Bret and Gina Oldham of Halo Paranormal, recently formed a group called Specialized Paranormal Investigations (SPI) to investigate paranormal phenomenon, and look in the fact that many abductees seem to have gained psychic abilities after experiencing direct contact with extraterrestrial beings.
