ELAINE SMITHA, a resident of the still beautiful, but under siege Pacific Northwest, is an internationally-known speaker and media personality. She began her writing career producing a neighborhood newspaper and later became the editor and publisher of a statewide newsletter. Her feature articles have appeared in such diverse publications as the Orange County Illustrated, Sovereign Scribe, New Times and The Olympian, and she wrote a monthly column for Masters Network and the Daily Planet. Elaine is the creator, producer and host of Evolving Ideas© TV and Radio and has a weekly show on The Progressive Radio Network, PRN.net. Her first book, published in 2004 by Hampton Roads Publishing, was the well-received and critically acclaimed If You Make the Rules, How Come You’re Not Boss? She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art and World Who’s Who of Women.
