Happy Halloween, and welcome to the #1 show on blogtalk. Today on the show, Hammer and I welcome into the studio, children's author, Tsila Glidai. If you would like to come in and talk to Tsila, the number is 319-527-6099.

Tsila: I believe there is a need for high quality books for children that respect their intellect and encourage them in positive ways. My books, all in verse, talk about sticking up for someone with a problem, taking a stand against bullying, making kids feel good about themselves as well as encouraging adults to listen to what kids have to say.

My name is Tsila Glidai, and telling kids stories, especially in verse, has always been delightful to me. I have been an English teacher for over 30 years, and I love making up stories to help my students grasp the various aspects of this language in a more meaningful way.
I am married to a great guy named Zev, and together we are the proud parents of 11 wonderful children- 8 daughters and 3 sons. They remember growing up with my stories, and now that several of them are married and we have grandchildren, I always come up with a story on demand whenever we're together. It's something I love to do, and I feel it's a talent I've been blessed with by G-d.
I love getting together with my younger kids and some of my older grandchildren, and hearing their ideas in some of our fun brainstorming sessions. It's so much fun to hear my grandchildren ask when I will be writing a story about one of them. Sapphire, the bright and curious little girl who appears in all my stories, is my oldest granddaughter.

And join us in the second half; we will have headline news, trending, fun halloween facts, politics and a lot more. If you would like to join us in the studio, the number is 319-527-6099.
