This episode will focus on PUBLIC EDUCATION.  We are honored to have 3 guests who know a bit about the subject.  We aim to have them all join in the end of show discussion on the topic.

*Our first guest is Sharon Thomas, a friend of two former guests (Scott & Cara Prior).  She is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction in Arizona because, as she puts it, "it is time to put an educator back in charge of education in Arizona!"

Ms. Thomas is a sixth-generation Arizonan.  She has taught for ten years, from the kindergarten level up to college.  She is a single mother of two.  She has been active in the community as a political leader and activist for over two decades.  She is a current teacher in high school & she writes curriculum and trains teachers. Tune in at the top of the 7pm Eastern hour to hear from her:  https://www.facebook.com/sharonforarizona

*Our second guest is a two-time previous guest (friend) of The Social Spitball Show.  Jeremy VanHooser was a recent candidate for Colorado State House.

If you heard Jeremy's previous conversations with us, you know that this young man has a bright future in public service and a great grasp of the issues.  Public Education is one of those issues.  We will talk more Jeremy about this and more in our second conversation:  https://www.facebook.com/vanhooserforHD1

*Our 3rd guest is NM Public Ed. Comm. (District 10) Jeff Carr.  He is dedicated to the success of Public Education & will lead an important discussion on Education/Public Ed, following our interview.

Carr received a BA in Social Studies Ed. from LSU and a MA in History from La. Tech.  Carr is currently teaching at Taos High School in Taos, NM.

Sounds like a great show...Let's get the conversation going...
