Dr. Ben Bernstein is a psychologist and educator specializing in top performance. Known as the “Stress Doctor,” he is the author of four books on how stress affects performance: Test Success (2009), Crush Your Test Anxiety (2018); A Teen’s Guide to Success (2014); and Stressed Out! for Parents (2015). His forthcoming book, The Path to Optimal Living, will be released 2021.
'Dr. B." has worked both physically and virtually all over the world for the last 50 years. As the list above shows, he works with students, their parents, and anyone with performance anxiety. This last category is broad, encompassing both sports and theater. He is a founding member of the California Center for Sport Psychology. He has a special interest in performance-related professionals as he has family members who are performers, writers, and other artists.
He has an additional MA in music composition; and he has created and produced several original films and plays for theaters both here and abroad. Furthermore, he helps writers to realize their creative ideas by directing internationally, as well as being an award-winning composer, and coach of opera singers.
