Lost alone and frightened learn about it before it’s too late, before it can take you or a loved one’s life away forever, the more you know the better you will be. You are not along there are millions of us among you. We represent over 70% of those in prison and even more of the homeless. **SPECIAL EPISODE** On tonight's show, our guest, Rebecca Thompson will discuss her journey of self-discovery, culminating in her book, _Rebecca Rising: How I found courage and self-love through friendship, coaching, and conversations with the moon_ (and a 2nd book, written with Darlene Ryan _Sunday at 8:30: 2 Decades of Life Planning_). She credits this change to "invitations" from colleagues, coaches, classes, books and more. The awareness from these opportunities caused a gradual opening-up and awareness of her true self. Becoming acquainted with her true self took her on a journey through spiritual coaching, psychic readings, dowsing, Reiki, Tarot, shamanism, spirit animals, conversations with the moon and Goddess Diana. This arduous journey led to her finding courage within herself, of which she was previously unaware. And the wonderful thing about this path is twofold: the hope and victory found along the path, as well as the endpoint in her finding her new way through life. This story (and her dissolution of the marriage of over a dozen years with her successful, albeit alcoholic husband), became a possibility upon meeting Ms. Ryan (her co-author of the 2nd book) at Eastman Kodak, their shared workplace. This mentor and companion helped sustain her throughout her journey.
