After graduating from La Salle University in 1991 with a degree in Communications, Jillian Bullock got her first taste of filmmaking when she interned on the set of Spike Lee’s film, Malcolm X. She has gone on to work on her own projects and other filmmakers’ movies in roles such as director, writer, producer, fight choreographer, and actress. As an award winning filmmaker, Jillian has also sold two scripts in her career so far; one in 2010, entitled A Champion Inside, and in 2011, she sold a script entitled A Scar Across My Heart. Since 2007, Jillian has been a screenwriting judge for the Shoot in Philadelphia Screenwriting Contest, sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Film Office.
Jillian, who is a martial artist, (she holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun), and a boxer, is also a fitness expert, motivational speaker, and professional life coach. She is the creator of Fighting Spirit Warriors, a fitness for self-defense program for girls and women.
