This week, we will feature Ms. Evette Porter, CEO/Co-Founder of the Taffi Crawford Foundation, Inc. of Memphis, TN. Evette is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.  She graduated from Mississippi State University and later also graduated from the University of MS Medical Center.  Evette’s passion has always been about helping others in need, especially children, but when her best friend, Taffi Crawford was murdered as a result of Domestic Violence, she became a strong advocate against domestic violence. A proud mother and community leader, Evette feels that Domestic Violence is Everybody’s Business.  She is striving to keep Taffi’s memory alive and to put an end to Domestic Violence.
