On Thursday, March 25, 2021 host Barbara Ehrentreu welcomes Julie Dolphin, award winning composer and singer to Books and Entertainment Tales from the Pages. She has composed a song called Habra Le Paz, which it is hoped will be perfomed this spring by a middle school choir. Her work is extensive and she has composed for many groups. In addition, she has performed all over including San Francisco with Michael Tilson Thomas, with the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center, in Switzerland with James Levine and she has toured Europe with Musica Viva. She has won many awards and she has an extensive background in musical theory and composing. This is going to be a one of a kind show and you won't want to miss it. I will be playing her piece for which I have composed a poem. As every show there will be some surprises. If you miss it live you can catch it on the archives.
