Come join us, since many of you have a little more free time, on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 4pm Eastern time to hear Books and Entertainment Tales from the Pages. Host Barbara Ehrentreu has assembled a great group of women. First, Eleanor Kuhns, author of nine books. Her latest, Dead in the Great Dismal, historical fiction, will be released this coming October. So happy she can finally get on the show. The second is Beverly Stowe McClure whose fifteenth book, Gabe's Guardian,  was due to be released on March 17 before we were hit with the corona virus and all its repercussions. In addition to these women the other guest is Ida Angland, a composer/conductor who is also a Greenwich Pen Woman colleague of mine. We will be hearing about her company, Gateway Classical and about her experiences with her orchestra, Gateway Orchestra. In addition, Ida has been trained in piano and has   performed as a soprano in several different regional companies. She was assistant conductor for the New York Grand Opera, a 40 year old group. It is our hope that we can hear her talented violinist, Davide de Ascaniis, so you can hear the excellence of the musicians who comprise Gateway Orchestra. Finally, as the capper for this amazing show, long time friend of the show and host, producer/director, screenwriter, author and festival head, Amy Leigh McCorkle. Her movie, "Letters to Daniel" is a feature film being streamed online on April 3, 2020. Amy will be talking about the movie and sharing some of her stories as well as giving more information about where you can find it to stream it free at that time. As always, there could be some surprises, but we sincerely hope that this show will help fill your day with books and music. Hoping to have all of you here but if you can't listen live you can listen in archives by clicking the link after the show is over.
