Each month Chasing Entertainment brings guests from some aspect of the entertainment world. Today's guests are multi-genre authors, but do have a wonderful knack for adding the paranormal and suspense into their books.

Viv is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan her passion has always been writing.

She was awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as ""From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and recently had it published again on Amazon.com

Viv took creative and journalism courses to help in her transition to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. She worked as an intern for Port Huron's 'The Times Herald", and also wrote, edited and did the layout or the Blue Water Multiple Sclerosis newsletter "Thumb Prints."

P.S. WINN began writing at the end of 2012. We had just moved and almost left boxes of poems and short stories behind. I decided I needed to find a way to preserve what I wrote. I decided to publish books.

I think I must have saved up the words in my mind because now I have 55 books. I write longhand and once I put pen to paper, the books seem to write themselves. My characters definitely have minds of their own. I am also an avid reader and sometimes read ten a day when my health permits.

Mari Collier was born on a farm in Iowa on a mattress her parents made and covered with oil cloth. Her short stories have appeared in print and electronically, plus there are four anthologies. You can find her books in a variety of languages as well as audio.
