She laughingly admits to being a night owl and a workaholic, claiming that her guilty pleasure is late-night chats with fans and friends on Facebook and Goodreads. Christy Nicholas is the award-winning author of two travel guides and fourteen novels, including the popular Druid's Brooch Series. Her novel, Time Tourist Outfitters, Ltd. was awarded first prize in the 2020 Writer's Digest self-published novel awards, Science Fiction category. She is an author, artist and accountant. After she failed to become an airline pilot, she quit her ceaseless pursuit of careers that begin with ‘A,' and decided to concentrate on her writing. Since she has Project Completion Compulsion, she is one of the few authors with NO unfinished novels. Michelle Pointis Burns juggles mothering her ten children, homeschooling (the oldest five have now graduated college), living her Catholic faith, and writing. She loves to research topics of all kinds, read British authors (especially Jane Austen and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle), quote movies in regular conversation, and drink hot chocolate from elegant teacups. When asked how does she manage it all, she has been known to reply, ?Prayer, caffeine, and a sense of humor.?
