Shelia E. Bell is a multi-award-winning, national bestselling author with 45 books already published in faith-based fiction, women’s fiction, young adult fiction, and nonfiction. Her books have made numerous bestsellers’ lists and garnered a bevy of literary awards, some which include Black Expressions Top 25 and Top 50, Dallas Morning News Bestseller, Kindle Awards Recipient, Henri Literary Award Recipient, AAMBC Award, USA Today Honorable Mention, among others.


Since the start of her career, Shelia has set the literary industry ablaze with her dynamic, true-to-life stories she themes "Perfect Stories About Imperfect People Like You...And Me."


Shelia is deliberate about encouraging others to live their dreams now. In March 2009, Shelia founded and held the Living Your Dreams Literary Arts Conference (Memphis). In 2012, she founded the nonprofit Black Writers And Book Clubs (BWABC) Literacy Festival and Association with a mission to promote literacy one community at a time. Shelia is a well-respected, sought-after book editor and literary consultant. She has edited hundreds of books across genres penned by authors from across the USA and continues to do so.


Having a lifelong physical disability, Shelia accepts no excuses for not pursuing one’s dreams and desires. Shelia says, “Do not allow life’s challenges to stop you from fulfilling your divine purpose.”
