Cindy Freland is an award-winning virtual assistant. She founded Maryland Secretarial Services, Inc. in 1997.  
She wrote her first book, Get a Job! Your Resume and Interview Guide, in 2002 but did not publish it until 2012.  At that time, she thought publishing was too expensive. 

She discovered self-publishing in 2012.  Since then, she has published 18 books. Her books are available on Amazon.com in print and for Kindle.
 
In 2012, due to her love of children and animals, Cindy wrote her first children’s book, Felix and the Purple Giant. Her Chesapeake Bay Adventure series have become quite popular.  You can often find Cindy doing readings at children’s events.

Cindy's books are now in Over 21 book stores, including 3 libraries.  Her ability to self-publish, market and promote her books online, and offline, has resulted in appearances and speaking engagements at schools, libraries and camps.
