- James Byfield, aka Blind Lemon Pledge discusses his new album “Goin' Home” that’s a return to the roots of his eclectic blend of American music genres. With just bass and guitar accompaniment, he explores the kinds of music that influenced him as he developed his musical and compositional skills. With songs from artists as diverse as Muddy Waters, Boz Skaggs, Peggy Lee and even an old Spiritual, Blind Lemon Pledge creates a warm glow like sitting around a fireplace swapping songs.
- Fine artist Mark J. Spangenberg discusses his work as a contemporary realist, muralist, and portrait artist. He received his formal education at Art Center College of Design in 1985 with a Bachelors of Art Degree in Illustration, and also studied fresco painting in Salzburg, Austria under the tutelage of master fresco painter Robert Scherer from Bolzano, Italy. Mark is lives in Twentynine Palms, CA where he is involved with the promotion of the arts in the Morongo basin.
